Newhouso was mado secretary. After some discussion it was voted ,to hold the district meeting at tho Orphcum on Friday, March 22 at two o'clock and to appoint three secre taries to take subscriptions at the meeting, each secretary to bo pio- vided with a list of tho taxpayers and voters of his district. Secretaries were appointed as follows: Outside" city, Ed Piatt; First ward, E. II. New- houso; Second ward, P. M. Whitehead.
