Auxiliary for December.
The monthly meeting of the
Women's Red Cross Auxiliary was
held at the court house Monday after
noon. The names of Mrs. Dcssio Sherwood
nnd Mrs. Mario Mizcr were added to
the purchasing committee. Mrs.
Lois Cowdcn was put on the finnnco
committee. The resignation of Mrs.
Wm. H. Thomas as treasurer was ac
cepted nnd Mrs. Frank Cowdcn was
elected to take Iter place.
The following articles were shipped
during tho month: 27 sweaters, 8
mufflers, 24 pair socks, 21 bath robes,
3 helmets, 7. suits pajamas, 32 bed
shirts, 12 nightingales, 24 handker
chiefs, 5 pair wristlets, 42 pair bed
socks, 4 hot water bag covers, 15 op
erating towels, 930 surgical dressings.
