Two More Answer Law's Call Buys Interest in Garage

Judge relieved him of about live dollars
of his cash, the flue boingf one dollar
and costs. Dospito the fact that the
authorities have notified all nuto own

cash up for a 15)17 license several auto
ists have not soeu fit to comply with
this law, among this number being Mr.
Pumroy. Mr. Boner states that In the
future he Is going to soe that this and
the speed law is compiled with.
County Judge Itannoy will also be at
homo to some of his friends today,
having been called upon to preside
over the case of the State of Nebraska
vs Itoss Barnes. It skeins that Mr.
Barnes had appropriated one oultlva-
tor on the premises of Carl Hudd, in
Walnut Creek, without leaving any

Citizens Place Ticket in Field
On Monday evening the citizens of
this city held a convention at the
court house for the purpose of placing
their ticket in the Held. A large num
ber of men were In attendance, they
being well pleased with the past record
of the present city otlleers and deemed
it unadvisable to make any change,
therefore the following were renomi
nated for election:

Thief Secures $10
At about the hour of midnight, last
Thursday, thieves entered the billiard
parlor owned by Jas Gilbert and help
ed themselves to the contents of the
cash register. Entrance was gained
through tho rear of tho building. The
proprietor informs us that he is of tho
opinion that the thief obtained about
ten dollars in cash and some cigars, as
the cigpr case bore evidence of having
been tampered with, a few "smokes"
having been found outside of the box

in silver was left in tho register. No
clue has as yet been obtained
The Baptist Ladies will hold a food
sale at Wullbrandt's store, Saturday,
