Minutes of February Oth, were read and approved. RopoitofS. R. Florence was read and orderod placed on tile. Chas. Barrett appeared before tho Council and stated that he hud secured sovoral lots in Falrvlow add to take care of this summer and asked per mission to take care of the streets and alleys for the hay ho would get oil" of them. On motion the request was granted. Upon recommendation of Supt Kcigler it was moved by Saladen and seconded by Stevens that the l'i cent light rate bo reduced to 10 cents com mencing Ap'.rl 1, 1917 and to continue until revoked by tho Council. (Motion carried. The sower ordinance was passed and ordered printed in tho Chief and tho same will appear in this paper next issuo. Mayor Damerell appointed Guy Zoigler Sewer Commissioner which was confirmed by the Council. Tho following were appointed Judges and Clerks of tho citv election which will be held in April and tho places of holding said election will be tho Coun cil Chamber uud Fireman's hall: 1st ward; Judges. Ed Pulsipher. Henry U. Wolf and J. W. McCracken; Clerks, Paul Pope, Minor Sherwood. '2nd ward: Judges, S. H. Bogard, J N Pope and Ed Gilbert; Clerks J. .1. Oarber, Chas. Gilliam. A motion was made by Stevens and seconded by Koont. that the claims of Bernard L. Castor for $10,000 and Eon Baker for $01.10 bo rejected. Mo tion carried. A motion was made by Saladen and seconded by Hamilton that SHOo be transferred from Electric- Light Fund to Sewer Bond Fund temporarily and the same to be replaced when bonds are cashed. Motion carried. On motion the Clerk was instructed to notify the holders of Electric Light Bonds that the city would pay 81.101) of Elect lie Light Bonds on April 1st., and Mayor and Clerk be instructed to draw warrant to pay same. Motion carried.
