Rlvortou Reviow. Funeral services for tho late Adam Morhart was held Friday morning lit his home in this city, Rev. J. L. Beebo officiating. Out of respect to the de ceased tho business houses of tho city were closed during the services. Inter ment took place in the city cemetery. A tire alarm wus turned in about 15 Tuesday evening, to which the fire boys responded promptly. The scene of the blaze proved to be the Nelson residence, east of the ceme tery, in the first ward, but was ex tinguished before doing much damage, in fact, even before the fire boys reached there, notwithstanding a record run was made with the hose cart, ably assisted by Paul Francis and his "Tin Lizzie." Oxford was completely outclassed and never appeared dangerous only having possession of the ball three times during the game. The locals played with snap and vim seldom dis played in other games, each man play ing a stellar part. Long runs were made by liaker, who run 40 yards ,on an end run, Overleese, who ran SO yards when returning the ball on nn Oxford punt.
