After tho ceremony u three course
wedding break fast vas served.
The bride is a graduate of the Hod
Cloud II lull School and afterwards from
the Chicago Con.servatory of Music,
and besides Iter many other accom
plishments, is it musician ot much
ability. Kchides being one of this
city's most charming and popular
young ladies, she comes from u family
who for years have controlled largo
financial interests in this community,
and who have did much toward thu
placing of Webstar county in tho front
ranUs.
The groom is engaged in tho insur
ance brokerage business in Chicago,
and while lie is comparatively a
stranger to I ho pcoplo of this citv, he
comes from an old and highly
spected family, and no doubt
worthy the lady of his choice.
Mr. and Mrs. Wcisz left on No.
that same morning for Chicago, where
they will make heir home. The Chief
joins with ihu entire community in
wishing them a long, happy and pros
perous life.

Death Removes
Another Pioneer
August Cook was born in Ocrmapr,
July 11, l8':7. He resided in his uuUvtf
country until he was a young man,
when he came to America, where he
thought he could line! a better oppor
tunity to follow his chosen profession
of shoemaker He spent several years
in Iowa, and finally in 380 moved to
Ked Cloud, where lie has since resided.
More than twenty years of the time in
tills city wus spent in the mercantile
and shoe busiues. He was a pioneer
citizen and did much to make lied
Cloud and community the pride of the
country. He was sober, industrious
und honest in his lelations and busi
ness life with thu public. lie was a
member of tho Lutheran church in
(ermany and uevor changed hischurch
relations in America. He was ill only
a few days and iiasse d out of this life
October UOtli. Ills mind was keen and
active to tho lust, and he was anxious
fur the success of his fatherland.
Mr. Cook leaves u wife, one son and
two daughters to whom the sympathy
of the entire community is extended
Funeral services were conducted Mon
day afternoon by Hev. J. L. Becbe.
interment was made in tuu city
cemetery.
