Rural School" Jtes District Ii Nora Mitchell, Daisy Chaplin and Sylvia Strickland completed the eighth grade work last spring and aic attend ing High School iu Inavale. School opened Septoinbor 13th with an enrollment of twentyllve pupils. The school house was greatly itnpiov ed by a new coat of paint on tho out side. It was also newly papered and painted on tho iuslde. A sanitary drinking jar has beon added, also new foot scrapers al the door. New white sash curtains adorn the windows. The individual public ser vice craslt towels have been purchased. Tho Palmer Method ot Business Writing, the Drlggs Live Language Lessons, tho O'Shea'a and Kellogg's Health and Cleatiliness and Health Habits, also a number of other books have been purchased for use iu school. The pupils have made a collection and study'of the various kinds of rocks and soil formation found in the district. The Domestic Science aud Manual Training classes arc progressing very nicely with their work.
