E. W. Ross Dies At
Eureka, Arkansas
Mr. E. W. Ross who had been a real,
dent o( this city for tho past twontyllve
years, but who with his wlfo und
daughter moved to Eureka, Arkansas
last January for tho benefit of his
health, died at that place Tuesday. Ho
had been nlllng for soveral yoors. Mr.
Ross was engaged In tho draylng busi
ness in this city for many 'years and
albo served 0110 year as Mayor. In 1007
Mr. Ross ran for County Clork on tho
Republican ticket and was olcoled, He
served three tonus in that otlico per
foimlng his work In a faithful manner.
His first wife died several years ago
aflor two dauglitois had been boru to
this union. A few years ago ho mar
ried again and his wlfoand two daugh
ters, Mrs Aithur Roby mid Miss Marie
are left to mourn his demise Mr.
Ross was 55 yetns oldi The remains,
itriivcd hi the city this morning and
the funeral services will be held Satur
day aftornoou.
