She was born and ral-ed In this county, and being sick only a short time, her death came as u gieat shock to her many friend. Red Cloud's regular weekly llstle ex hibition took place on Tuesday night. A temporary ring was made Iu the neighborhood of Webster street and Fouitli Avenue. I'nfortuuately the fight had not been previously adver tised, hence did not attract as large a crowd as such a well given exhibition, between two such popular young men would have did The light went sever al i minds, real red blood was In evi dence, and all in all it was great dr lugs for lovers of this said sport. We suggest that If these shows are to be pulled off at such regular Intervals that a real ring be established with raised seats, etc., and that a small ad mission be charged. They are well worth the money. Webster street has been the scene of great activity the past few days. In fact, so much so, as to almost hinder street car traffic. Any number of new lights have been strung at regular in tervals, a band stand has been erect ed at the intersection of Webster Street ami Fourth Avenue, a stand for the trick bicycle riding aud acrobatic stunts has been built right at our very door, and numerous tents and stands are going up tho entire length of the "main stem." Yes, and the merry-go- round is here also, and is being rapid ly put together on Fourth Avenue, near the Saunders Bros., lumber yard. It surely does look to us like a big day tomorrow, as well as "a big night tomorrow night." Council Doin's The city council met in regular Bess ion in the council chamber.
