W. H. Fish and son Albert, whe

Will West stopped off in this city
a few days the first of the week to
visit with friends. He was en route

down the position of master mechanic
In tho Red Cloud Auto Co. garage, but
who since last fall has called the state
of Kansas "home," has returned to
Red Cloud and accepted a position in
the Johu N. Havel gargage. Walter is
an nil 'round mechanic, and Mr.
Havel Is fortunate, Indeed, in securing
his servloes.
L. E. Tait has again embarked in
the automobile business. He has se
cured the agency for the Chalmers
oar and will be located at 404 South
11th street, Lincoln. Mr. Tait is a
Bed Clond product, having spent that
span of .life from boyhood to man

regret to see him mo-e away,
but feel safe in saying he will make a

A story is going the rounds About
some one stealing Hoi ten Letson's nice
tent. It was told to us that Holten,
laboring under the impression that
the good old summer time was only a
matter of a few hours away, decided
to take up his quarters in the said
tent, but only awoke to discover that
Koino ono had deliberated removed
the same from over him. However,
we can not believe it was stolen, nor
can we refrain from wondering if the
yoang man might not have neglected
to have tightened the guy ropes be
