Members present Paul Storey, 0. Ohmstede, T. J. Chaplin, 1 F. Schmidt and O. V. Hummel, chairman of said Board. Moved and seconded that the F.iir Association of Webster County, 'N'ebr., be and is hereby allowed the sum of $200.00, being the amount asked for by said association for the year 1910, iuuI the balance of their indebtedness after the closing of the fair at Bladen In said county this fall (1911), and the ccrtlllcato lllcd with the Count Clerk, as provided by the statute of Nebraska; provided said Indebted ness does not exceed the amount pro vided by law for such purposes and provided further that the general fund of said county will allow such expenditure. In the matter of the Hoad Petition of X. E. Harvey, ct ul., asking for n road to be opened up and established between sections 19 and 30, Town 2, Range VI, which was laid over from the Commissioners of .June 19, 1911, coming on now for hearing and it ap pearing to the board of County Com missioners that the cast half mile of said road Is now and lias been used as a public road for the past ten years by continuous possession Is a public highway, whereupon It was moved and seconded that the petition bo granted as to the west half mile of said road and M. Colby, owner of the Southwest Quarter of Section 19-2-12, be allowed nnd hereby Is al lowed the sum of $02.50, nnd as u fur ther consideration the privilege of using the spring situated on the right of way of said road for any and all damages arising by virtue of the opening and establishing the west half mile of said road as prayed for In said petition as to the west half mile. (Motion carried.) Moved and seconded that the Coun ty Clerk be and Is hereby authorized and Instructed to draw a warrant on the general fund In favor of Win. Moved ami secouded that the poor farm committee, in conjunction with Elmer Wilson, superintendent of poor farm, purchase a bull for the poor farm. (Motion carried.) In the matter of procuring clothes for Miss Witt, who Is blind and is a charge upon Webster County, It was moved nnd seconded that the super intendent of the poor farm correspond with the brother of Miss Witt and find out the necessary clothing she Is in need of, and upon such finding, to procure her the necessary clothing or remit enough money to her to make such purchases as he may deem prop cr under the circumstances. (Motion carried.) On motion, adjourned to 9 o'clock a. m., August 9, 1911. In the matter ot the road petition of Fred Wehnes and others asking the county board to open and establish a road on the section line on the north side of Section 3, Twp. 3, Range 11, weoster county, Nebraska, it was moved and seconded the above and foregoing petition be granted and said road be and Is hereby established as prayed for in said petition. (Motion carried.) In the matter of a strip of land bought of I. V. Negley by the County Commissioners for road purposes in the northeast quarter of Section 22, Twp. 2, R. 12, it was moved and sec onded that the County Clerk be and is hereby authorized to draw a war rant on the general fund In tho sum of $207.01 In consideration of tho con veyancc by deed of said land to Web btor County, Nebraska, for road pur poses, which deed of conveyance Is recorded in deed record No. 11, page 1S7, of tho records of Webster Conn ty, Nebraska, (Motion carried.)
