Hotel Royal Adds
a "Shower Bath"
Roy Oatmau, proprietor of the Hotel
Royal, is nothing if not enterprising.
In addition to his already complete
equipment, he has recently added a
"shower bath." The first adtuiuistru
tlon of the "bath" was an impromptu
affair and was pulled off Sunday even
ing, the recipients not even being
guests of the hotel. It appears that
select crowd of local sports had con
gregated in tho rear of the Polnlcky
building and, just at one of the party
was uttering the mystic words "come
seven," an upstairs window of the
hotel opened and something less than
seven gallons of real wet water was
precipitated upon the uasaapeoting
bunch. It is said the air was bine in
that neighborhood for quite'1 a while.
It is probably a good tiling for the
perpetrator of the joke that the city
marshal was not around, as tie might
nave been .arrested for his playfulness.
O. E. Hughes disposed of the Tepee
theatreMouday to Geo. J. Warren, the
former proprietor. Mr. Hughes has
made an enviable reputation in con
ducting the Tepee and tho citizens
and business men of Red Cloud are

Mr, Hughes contemplates going into
business with his brother Frank
at Hastings, in the automobile bust
ness. Mr. Hughes has the best wishes
of friends In his new venture.
Mr. Warren, the new proprietor,
needs no introduction to the people of
Red Cloud, as his former policy will be
again in vogue at the Tepee.
