Doleznl of Saunders has a lncasuro which seeks to provide payinont for horses afflicted with glanders which the state veterinarian puts to death as a preventive of spreod of the disease, conceded to be one of the worst which afflicts domestic animals. He explains that the people iu that part of his dis trict surrounding Cedar Bluffs nro par ticularly anxious for the passage of this law because they havo felt tho effect of tho loss of animals by gland ers. As explained by Mr. Doleznl, tho dlscnso is Just as apt to attack tho horses of jKwr men as those of wealthy farmers, and when they are shot by the deputy veterinarian It leaves the owner In deplorable condition.
