Mr. and 31 rs. Charlie Isom, Wednes
day afternoon at II o'clock was solemn
ized the marriage of their daughter,
Carrie to Acoy Mathews.
At the appointed hour tho couple at
tended by Orris Matkins and Frances
Ncbbct, and little Dorthy KUingor as
ring bearer which was carried in the
center of an Kuster Lilly, took their
places under n marriage boll of pink
roses to the strains of Mendelssohn, a
wedding march played by Mibs Irouo
Miner.
Kuv. Hummel pronounced tho cere
mony in a most beautiful, impressive
manner. At the close of tho ceremony
congratulations were extended; after
which an elegant three course supper
was served on small tables.
A flue array of presents attest the
esteem in which the young folks are
held and will servo as a lifo long me
mentoes. The bride was gowned in a white
French Mull daintily made, and she
never appeared to better advantage
She carried a large armful of pink and
white carnations. '1 ho color scheme
was pink and white throughout the
house. Carnations being the dower
used.
Sho is a young lady of many graceb
of mind and person, who is capable of
tilling the home she will adorn with
happiness and will prove to bo truly a
helpmate and companion by the hus
band sho has chosen to honor with her
hand.

men of the community. The congratu
