Huffman and lnjurnetl them severely. Thoy are gottlug a long very well at this writing. LESTER Pot Lewis wont to St. Joe Sunday. Mr. Blair is visiting hor bou, Bert and family. Society meets with Mis. Charlie Lowis this week. Mrs.sGarrlbon and wife visited at Jim Doyle's Sunday. Chet Cox and family called on Mr. und Mrs Cooper Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew King visited Connie Rasscr and wife Sunday. Miss Lacoy Decker spent Sunday at her sister's Mrs. Connie Basser. Flnloy Bright has been on the hick dlst. But is bettor at this writing. Mrs. John Holcomb and daughter visited John Basser and wife Sunday. The Lester school was out Friday and thoy spent tho day in ,nshing and all hud a merry time. Miss Coiu Wee suer, Mrs. Jim Doyle and Mrs. Fred Hmd were shoping at Hastings last Saturday. Henry Ilulsebush, Jimmie Doyle and a few of our young boys spent Sunday at John Saladon. Henry Basser has quit tho Amboy milling company. His father and him leavos for Milwaukee soon. A postal card shower was given on Mrs. Glopet and Charles Busser this week They both recolved many pretty cards. A party was gived at Lewis Borg- flold's Saturday night und a good many ofthe Lester people attended. Thoy all had a line time. The Surveyors are surveying tho roads betwoeu Cooper's and Frisbie's.
