Kindly refer to ray published partial list of
Piano sales and ask yourself if I have had
my share. I have sold enough to have made
fair wages, but 1 find upon balancing my
ledger that my profits are not sufficient to
justify a continuation of the piano business
at the prices I have been giving.
This means something like this to me:
First--I am Qfoino- to close out all the stock
on hand.
Second- I will not undertake to stock up
again with high grade Standard pianos to be
sold at the prices that Medium grade and
Stencils are sold elsewhere. '
Third -If I continue in the piano business
after this stock -is exhausted, I will have to
charge the same prices that other dealers get
for the same class of goods. I have been
giving my customers the benefit of special
discounts that have heretofore been unheard
of on New Pianos.
My pianos are "Standard and the prices
are made by the factories. I have never
charged you full pi ice but I have learned
something. You have yained what my ex
perience has cost me. The reason I
have clone this is becaus': 1 would not offer
poor quality, and in oidcr to compete with
"special sale" grades I have given you "qual
ity ' at the "special sale grade price.
Do you want cheaper grades or will you pay
a fair price for the best? It is my purpose
in this announcement to p;ive you
Fair Warning
And make no advance in prices on
the present stock. I do this because
some of you have expressed a de
termination to purchase pianos like
