Coop er vs. the Farmers' Creek Telephone Company came up for hearing before Judge Keed last Tuesday and the tes timony and arguments were not com pleted until Wednesday afternoon. Judge Keed handed down a decision in favor of the plaiutiiV Thursday morning. The damage suit grew out of an injunction suit instituted by the telephone company against Cooper early last summer. It seems that Cooper brought from J. it. Wisecarvcr his interest in the Farmers' Creek Tele phone Company, and a disagreement arose between him and the company over the payment of dues. The com pany sought to enjoin Cooper from using the telephone line on the ground that he had no title to the phone. Judge Adams decided in favor of Cooper, who then brought suit to re cover damages from the company. Cooper claimed St personal damages and $71 which he paid for attorney fees. Against this claim the company set up a counter claim of SJ.M.O.'t for dues, etc. Judge Heed allowed Cooper gill) for attorney fees and S21 personal damages, the latter being offset by the company's claim of SL'l.
