The south ward Sunday school has
started a teachers' meeting, which
will be held on Thursday evenings at
the homes of the teachers. This is to
be a union meeting and is not confined
to teachers. The school Sunday had

Mrs. J. W. Warren returned from
Crystal Lake, South Dakota, Wednes
day night, where she 1ms been for
about three months' taking care of
her daughter, Mrs. Jessie Darling,
who has been dangerously sick. Mrs.
Warren expects to return in about
three weeks to her daughter's bedside.

James Burden and his nephew, Fred
Burden, went hunting Thursday, and
while they were driving along the
road in search of game tho shotgun
carried by Fred was accidentally dis
charged. He was holding the gun be
tween his knees, muzzle upward, and
the charge from the gun tore a hole
through his coat and shirt, leaving
his undershirt untouched. The buggy
top was riddled. It certainly was a
close call for Fred.
