the farmers in the southwestern part
of the county enjoyed a tine rain

Carlisle Indian school, has enlisted in

meat market, got tired of standing in
the water after the rain Tuesday aft
ernoon and attempted to climb upon
the sidewalk. In the effort he fell
and broke one of the shafts of the
buggy and also slightly damaged the
harness.
Stephen Rayles arrived this morn
ing from the Soldiers' Home at Mil
ford. Although almost 80 years of
tige Mr. Rayles prefers to work rather
than live on the charity of the state,
so he expects to go to Topeka, Kan.,
in the near future. He reports that
J. A. Reid is in very poor health, with
no prospect of recovering.
