Mr. Ilico was a former resident horo, but sold out and went to California in tho hopo of benefiting his health. Mrs. Fred Kaufman received word from hor husband Tuesday annouuo ing tho death of their son John at Mineral Springs, Mo. Mr. Kaufman was called there last wook by tho seri ous illness of his son, who had boon suffering with inflammatory rliouma tism, and oxpocted to bring him homo, but found ho was not able to stand tho trip. Mrs. Arthur Myers, who was taken to tho sanitarium at Omaha for treat ment last week, died on Saturday, and was brought homo for burial. Tho funeral occurred in tho Christian church at Rod Cloud Tuesday and was attended by a host of friouds nnd rela tives, as sho had been long and favor ably known horo. Rev. H is now in a vory critical condition, not haviug regained consciousness yet. Sympathizing friends aro doing all tnnt can bo done, but there is littlo hopo of his recovery.
