of men that gathered quickly and was

Fireworks in Explosion.
Now York, Sept. 20. By tho explo
sion of a largo quantity of powder,
tho fireworks factory of Joseph Spelzo,
In Green Point, was totally destroyed.
Spelzo's sixteen-year-old son, Antonio,
was Instantly killed and his wife and
two younger boys and a workman
wero seriously injured. Tho explosion
shook buildings within a radius of a
mile and for a time it was thought
that many persons had been killed.
