Mrs. Lester wan born in Marshall county, Illinois in 1851 and came to Webster county with her parent Mr. and Mrs. Alex Walker, who wero the first settlers on Farmers creek. In 1873 she was mar ried to Milton Lister, who died about ten years ago. Mrs. Loiter was liked by all and was Past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star lodge, of this ciiy of which sho was an enthusiastic mem bors. His father first sottled noar Sindusky, Ohio, wlioro ho remained for a number of years. In 1054 Mr. Fox was man led to Miss Laura Randal and koiii after went to Montcalm couuty, Michigan where ho remained until 1870 when ho with his family came to Webster county and settled on a farm in Oar field township where he resided until his death.
