settlers present were Messrs. T. Law
ler, L. I). Thomas, E. II. Foe, Ed. Me
Cunt), E. K. Conrad, and Musdames
Lawler, Thomas, Foe, McCune and
Conrad. These have endured bard
ships of Nebraska for twenty-live years
and more and s ill pin their faith to the
Sunflower State. Tho friends of more
recent date were Mr. end Mrs. S. Hitler,
Mr. and Mrs. lloitlor. Mr. and Mrs. J.
Thomas, Mrs. Uranhurst and the
Misses Clattc. An abundant dinner
was provided and a most plensnnt day

Mr. Spilker is building a new house
on what is known as tho Yeiser farm.
Frank Slater is building a bouso on
tho old Homer Hayes farm. Both will
be occupied by the owners in tho near
