Wilburu was born in Fraiikfoid, Kentucky, August 20, 1818, and died December 31, 180(1, aged 81 years, 4 months ami ft days. At 4 yearn of ago his parents removed to Spriuglield, Illinois, while he re mained until 185'J, when he went to Ciiiiioriiin during the gold excitement. He was married while in Coliforuia to Miss Adulia Campbell and nine chil dren have been given them, all of them now living. After sixteeu years min ing hi California ho went again to Spriuglit.ld where ho remained for four years, then ciimu to Nebraska where he bus lived since, farming and in other business. For the last few jcars ho has been living with his sons. Tho children remaining are: Mrs, Altueda JJoll, Alliance, Neb., Mrs Mary Wads worth, Oxford, Neb , 11 miry Wilburu, David City, Neb., Mrs Sarah Jennings, Hardy, Neb., Lotus Wilburu, li.ur, Colorado, Thomas A Wilburu, Rod Cloud, Neb , Shadrieh Wilburu, Sen eca, Neb , Mrs. Mary Ditch, Atlanta, Neb., Miss Angie Wilburn, Red Cloud, Neb. They have the sympathy of the en tire communitf in the loss of so excel lent a father and one who for so many years has been a valued citizen. They came to " obster county from Hrowuville in 1881 taking up n rest, deuco in this city. Six ohildtcn wero born tj iliem of wh m two daughters survive, Mrs. William Parker of this city and Mrs. I). F. Parker, of Sun Francisco, California, Her husband, T. C. Hacker, onu lister. Mrs. Kali of Akron, Colorado, and two brothers, residents of Indiana, also survive her. The funeral service conducted by Elder Hu8song of tho Christian church was held at her late home on Tuesday, January 2, and was largely attended. Interment took placo at Nemaha City on Wednesday, January 3d. MARRIED. On Sunday night nt 7 p.m. of l)cc ru ber 31, 1809, nt the homo of tho bride's parents Mr. nnd Mrs, A. D. Tho beautiful and impressive ceromony of tho Mothodist church was read and tho young couplu launched upon tbo sen of matrimony with tho God-speed and btst wishes of the friends and relatives who had, gathered to witness thu oui oniony. Mr. Grout is a young m.ri of ood family ami muuncrs, cntuiug fi. m Inn valo. Ho has mude mau friouds hero and begins work with tho Ovcring Marble Company. The hrido has mnny warm friends, especially among her school mates nt tin high-school where hho hub nttonded for thi past fow ytars, They will remain in Red Cloud and aro to bo congratulated upon their hapny start in life.
