John A. Soibort, an old and respect
ed citizen of Webster county, died nt
his homo in Walnut crook, township
last Tuesday of cancor. Mr.-Sibert
has been a sufferer for many mouths
and his death was not unexpected. Ho
was a httlo over 70 years of ago having
been born Soptombor 29th, 1820. Ho
loaves a wlfo and eight children to
mourn kis loss.
A serious accident befell a gontloman
by tho name of K. R. Wood yesterday.

chasing mules and while riding his
horse he was thrown sustaining a frao
