Dead Hogs Not Worth Much.
A caso was beforo Judgo Porter on
Monday in which a lot of dead hogs
was the property in controversy. It
seems that Anthony SohaclYcr while
driving pait tho stock yards of the H. &
M. railroad discovered somu dead hogs
and thinking thoy were of no imu lo
anyouu ho loaded them in hi wupnn
and took them to his home for the pur
pose of feeding them to his chickens.

lars for thorn, dually reducing IiIk price
to livo dollais which SehaefTer refused

deputy county attorney and Schaeller

having as his attorney K. U. Overman.
Beforo t ho caso had progressed very
far it was discovered that our able
county attornoy had failed to place any
value on the hogs 111 question in his
complaint and the hogs not being
worth anything thu caso was dismissed.
