A very Interesting educational rally
was held at tho high school building
List Saturday which was quite exten
sively imtticipatcd in by tho teachers
of tho county. Several very Interest
ing papers were read, many of which
were worthy of special mention, which
owing to a lack of both lime and room
wo are unable to give. The program
was excellent throughout.

The weather of the past week has
been a decided change for the better,
as compared with that of a month pre
vious. Local showers, cool winds and

talks at tho school house. She urged
tho teachers to adopt tho new meth
ods of toaching and uso tholr learning
to tho best advantago.

and the delegations were composed of

committers tho convention adjourned
until after dlnuer. On tho re-assembling

organization was made permanent with
the addition of J. C. Brooks as assis
tant secretary.
Tho reading of n wonderfully long
set of resolutions by Capt. Houcuin
caused considerable merriment both to
delegates and onlookers and after tho
conclusion of tho rending they wero
adopted.
