While riding by the school house

A lurgo number of young folks at

Doob That Most Dreadful of Dis
oaaos Chronio Catarrh.
Over half of tho people have catarrh
in some form or another, and yet prob
ably not a tenth of these people know
that tlu ir disease is catarrh. One per
son says that no tins urigut's disease;
another liver complaint; another con
sumption; another femalo complaint.
Theso people would bo very much sur
prised .to hear that
they wero all suffer
ing with chronic cat
arrh; but it is so, nov
ertholcss. Each ono
of theso troubles, and
a great many mora,
are simply catarrh,
that is, chronic in
llamtnation of tho
mucous lining of whichever orgon is
affected. Any internal remedy that
will euro catarrh in ono location will
euro it in any other looatlon. This is
why Pc-ru-na has become so justly fa
mous in the cure of catarrhal diseases.
It cures catarrh wherever located. Its
cures remain. Pe-ru-ua does not pal
liate; it cures.
Dr. Hartmun has recently compiled
into book form sovcral of his lectures
ou chronic catarrh, which ho has de
livered at different times at the Surgi
cal hotel. This book is called "Winter
Catarrh," and will bo sent freo of
chargo on application to the Pc-ru-na

Why Wamen Can't Be Masons.
At a Masonic festival in Enid, Okla
homa, toasts and responses wero given
aftor tho banquet. J. C. Mooro in a
pleasant remark said, "That tho ladies
would never know uutil thoy go to
Heaven why thoy could not bo Masons."
Mrs. Judge Switzor retorted in behalf
of tho lovelier sex "that thoy could not
lind out then as thero would bo no men
in Heaven to toll tho becrot." This
raised serious thoughts in tho breast
of tho editor of tho Eaglo, and ho is
now anxiously looking for asbestos
underwear for possible contingencies.
