Great excilment prevailed at Wien
er's clothing store on Wednesday
evening, and Frank Cowden thought
that his life was not worth a sixpence
for about fifteen seconds, in fact his
hair is still standing on end from his
grest fright. The "cause of all this
thisnesa" was from an explosion that
took place in the large stove in the
rear end of the room which had ac
cumalated sufficient gas to blow the
pipe down. Frank says it was a nar
row escape, but the explosion did'nt
"soot" him exactly.
