Charley Sterner and Mias Jennie
Snyder, were united in the holy bonds
of matrimony oa Wednesday, by the
Rev. E. J. Randall. The happy
couple have the beet wishes in the
sterner realities of life. May their
jovs over cease.
A. Ilinkins of Rivcrton, formerly a
pioneer of Illinois, dropped in this
week and added his name to the Great
Family Weekly. Mr. Ilinkins has 200
acres of very nice corn-and is fully
satisfied that he is going to make a
good thing this season.
A gentleman by the name of Jno.
Gilbert of DeWitt, Nebraska, has
purchased a portion of the Burtie
farm and will turn it into a breeding
farm for fine horses. That is some
thing that should be encouraged in
Webster county and Tux CuJEF wel
comes Mr. Gilbert to Red Goad.

buys by the car this saves freight and
can sell cheaper than anybody.
The job of mowing the grass in
the north ward school house yards
was a very poor one. It does not pay
to have cheap jobs of that kind.
Why is it that our farmers do not
raise their own strawberries and fruits?
If they would put in their spare timo
improving their farms it would be
much more beneficial.
