Great excitement prevailed un the
streets of Red Cloud last Monday
afternoon, while 3Ir. II. B Simons
was capturing a swarm of brcs which
had pulled stakes and stirlcd for bet
ter camping grouuds.
Last Saturday night the east bound
passenger train met with an accident,
which way delayed it an hour snd a
half between Amboy and Guide Rock.
Upon examination of tbe engine it
was found that one of the ecccntries
was badly bent
The Red Cloud juvenile orchestra
under the direction of Miss M. E.
Campbell, will give a concert at the
opera house Tuesday June 23. The
proceeds of tho concert will be used
to puchase new instruments for the
orchestra. Admission 15 and 25 cents.

street he became so violent that it
