Red Cloud is well represented in
Lincoln, and The Chief is pleased to
note the prosperity of all of our for
mer townsmen in that city, especially

accumulated an extensive real estate

street) is continually thronged with
people in quest of Lincoln real estate.
We are pleased to see him do well.
The city of Lincoln is fast be
coming one of the finest towns in the
west. She is one continaal stream
of enterprise, and the upbuilding of
Lincoln is the only theme of conver
sation that can be heard from her en
thusiastic citizens. Before tea years
more roll around Lincoln will more
than have touched the 100,000 notch.

While there he took in the legislature

in making laws. So far the work per
formed was not entirely satisfactory
to the people, yet they may get down
to business. They have now occu

session, leaving only three more days
for the introduction of bills, then tht
