A. 31c Kcighan being present, was called upon to make some remarks npon that subject He presented a copy of bill which had been presented to the legislature for aid to assist the desti tutc in the state, which was read be fore the board. 3Ioved and carried that the resolution be adopted and that a copy of the same lie forwarded to our representative in the legisla ture. Resolution offered as follows: re solved, that the board of supervisors of Webster county, Xeb., now assembled, do fully indorse the measure and plan for the relief of the drought stricken district of Nebraska, presented by AV. A. MeKeighan, and urge the passage of the bill read, or some similiar bill; and that a copy of the resolution be furnished to Win. Dysart, member of the state senate; also one to 0. (r. Wilson and Austin ltflcy. members of the house, and that they be requested to give their support to a fair and reasonable bill for said purpose.
