The failure of several crops of red
clover in New Zealand was explained
by the absence of the fructifying in
sects which are requisite as necessary
to the icrfection of certain plants. A
hundred wild lives were imported from
England and set free, and in that dis

L. Smith, of Valdosta, Ga.. has a
pair of brass spoon molds that were
made four years before the revolution.
