Well, well, Nebraska must be changing for it was net thus in the memory of the oldest inhabitant. But the late rain or snow has started the grass to the delight of those who are short of hay, and that seems to he a general com plaint. A number have lost cattle this spring and stock.in general seems to be thin in flesh. Planting is progress ing finely, a large acreage of corn bo ing put in and but little small grain sown, and that mostly oats.
