On motion that owners of lots 12 and 22. in block 31. be notified to appear beforo the board Wednesday, May 5, at 2 p.m. to show cause why buildings on said lots should not be assessed to them, carried. Mo tion carried. It appearing to the satisfaction of the board that W. N. Richardson paid taxes , amouuting to $1511.87 ou illegal assess-, ment. it was on motion ordered by the . board that said amount of taxes be re-, funded to said W. N. Richardson. i Moved and seconded that the clerk issue an order to the couuty treasurer to refund to W. N. Richardson $159.87 ! as taxes paid under protest on an illegal assessment. Motion carried.
