number. The articles are varied and
of an interesting nature: among which
may be mentioned. -How we live in
New York the Charities of a Great
City," by Jennie June: "Two sides ot
the question:" "The Diamond Pend
ant," and the admirable serial. "The
Shores of Nothing." The various de
partments contain much that is useful,
and the illustrations add considerably
to the interest of the magazine. The
frontispiece el' this number is a beauti
ful stee engraving.
