Mr. James, the section foreman, has
made a vi.-it to Lincoln, found his wife
no better. They have given up all
hopes of her recovery.
We have anew ticket agent our
fiiend the doctor. This is such a
hcalthv part of the countrv that Doc
h;t to resort to other means to make a
living, so he has taken a position on
the railroad, hope some other doctor
will conic to Cowles to keep up appear
ance.
We have had no preaching this year
Sunday school died. Still we are good
people.
Mrs. O. Fisher is making a protrac
ted visit here.
Mack has got around again, he is
helping the depot agent attend to his
many new and arduous duties.
