away, until nothing but the letters re

Yet in these days of reckless criticism-

There will bo a delegate convention
holden at the Academy of Mu-ic, in
Lincoln, Nebraska, on January 0, 187t
at 3 o'clock p. 111., composed of dele
gates from the following-count i s, viz:
Lancaster, Sew ml. Saline, Fillmore,
Gage, Jefferson, Thayer, Nuckolls,
Webster, FranUin, Harlan, Furnas
Red Willow, Hitchcock, and Chase,
for tho purpose- of incorporating a
Narrow Gauge Railroad Company,
having for its object the construction
of a narrow gauge railroad from Lin
coln to Denver, via the Republican
Valley. Each of the above named
counties will be entitled to five dele
gates, and one additional one for each
o.OOO of population or fractional part
thereof bused upen thceenvusof IS75.
Each of the above named counties are
earnestly requested to send delegates
to said convention. Gentlemen fn.m
Denver will be present in attendance
upoo'tttid' cenvention to consult and
aid in the project.
