Mr. M. A, McKiunon returned te

Uncle Tom's Cabin.
"Uncle Tom was presented to a very
good opening house in Music Hall by
the Rial and Draper troupe last night.
The splendid effect of the ''Crossing
the Ohio en the ice" was. the admira
tion of the house. It had never bui
presented with so powerful an im
pression and so skillful a stnge man
agement. We would advise all, .ld
and young, to come early t-night for
this scene. A fur-loving Topsy is
also on hand. The ""lawyer by the
name of Marks" was played 'bang up"
and Uncle Tom was a fine impersona
tion. We must say that "Aunt Chloe"
was too ludicrous last night. The
miustrels are excellent producing mu
sic of superior merit and making a
striking feature of the Combination.
There was a flourish of handkerchiefs
all over the house, when Eva St. Clair
was on the stage. The baying of the
hounds in the pursuit was impressive
to the last degree. The Rial & Drar-f r
Combination have rendered 'Ur.tb-
Tom" finer than any troupe sine-
ran two weeks in Beckel Opera Il. uio
