Chas Brown was married last Satur
day evening to Miss L. Baker, by the
Rv. Mr. Mullis. and great joy exists
in the Brown Campus.
Mr. and Mrs. E. It. Todd enter
tained a company of young folks from

somely yesterday avening. Music, lit

on comparison our school was run for

education, and is not an evidence of
scholarship, ir shows that the Vest use
has been made of the means at hand.
Our school is too crowded, there are
too many in a class for th best results
educationally and while it aids to re

the greatest good to the greatest num
ber of scholars, We should have more
room and mure teachers.
Besides this there have been twenty
young teachers graduated from this
school during Prof. Love's term, all jf
whom passed the state examination
for second grade certificate, but one,
and that was lost on a mere technical
point. When it is remembered that, a
large pr. cent of University ai d X r
mal schuul students fail to take this
grade, our work here stands still high
