the family are improving and there is
little danger of its spreading. One
child died however, before medical aid
could be made available.

back-bone to levy a tax sufficient to

Master Clemie Chase, Editor of the
Excelsior, a chillis' paper published at
Omaha, called on the Herald last
Friday. Master Clemie although a hid
yet, has edited a paper for several
years; he is printer, pressman, roller
boy and Editor-in-Chief, all in one.
Prof. "Woodbury, Principal of Talbot
Hull College, at .Neb. City, paid us a
visit last week and was the guest of
lev. Mr. Burgess.
Mr. Dickenson, formerly of Cass Co.,
has removed his residence to Dawsen
County, and his Post Ollice address is

heretofore He writes us a neat letter
about the country there, which we
shall publish soon.
