ucated and disci'imiimiing taste .which recog :
nies tlie advantages of superior artistic quality
with greater facility of production. The wood
cuts of tho Aldine possess all the delicacy and
elaborate finish of the most costly steel plate,
while they afford a better renderin-jr of the ar
tist's original.
To fully realize the wonderful work which the
