The Herald beheld an unusual sight
on Tuesday last. A tribe of aboriginal
Sachems, evidently on the war path,
swarmed into our sanctum "Dan."
McKinnon at the head, "Dave" M'.Caig
on the left rer.r flank, aid Capt. Wiles
high private in the rc"ir rnnk, (he said).
Vengeance glittered in their eycn, and
an old copy of the Herald shook beau
tifully ia their uplifted right hands.
We knew in a moment something was
thi matter we've got u?cd to that,
when n fellow comes in shaking the pa
per, you rmy be sure the '"Dvii" has
put a finger in something ha "hadn't

pied "Westerly," in tho railroad notice,
and then set her up "Easterly," which,
as D. McCaig, Esq , modestly observed
would mika 'cm run round the Globe
to get to Grecnwool. It's all right,
now, boyi. Come again.
