as we delight in giving all the informa
tion possible in regard to Ne
braska, and particularly this section of
the State. We answer the questions in
the orler in which they are asked.
1st. There are bricks made here, and
have been for many years, tut the pres
ent indications are that the demand will
exceed the supjIy the coming season.
2nd. We presume the clay must lie
good, fir the bricks produced are of very
good quality.
3rd. Bricks sold last season at $12 per
thousand, at the kiln. None scliing now
none to be had.
4th. We do think 4!)o,000 or 50O,
(M, and more, bricks can be sold here
during the coining season. In fact we
have no doubt twice that amount can be
sold.
5th. Common labor is worth from
. 1.25 to $2.50 per day much less by
the month.
6th. Mason work during the past
sea-onwas $4.o0peruay.
7th. The present population of Platts

more raj -idly than any town in the west.

RexohitJ, By the Senate and House of
Representatives of the State of Nebra-ka.
That, having heard the report of the

the authority conferred ujion them, in
the sale of the Public Lands and Iots

serve the le?t interest of the State, and
we therefore exonerate them from all
censure, and endorse their action, both
in their capacity as such Commissioners,
and as individual eitiz:-i:s.
