10 grains, up to this year, is 42 bushels,
notwithstanding the grasshoppers done
f-crious da:nige to it during the pnt two
years. Mr. Thomas thinks from wha,t
experience he lias had with this new
kind of wheat (which. from the method
of obtaining it he calls Canary Wheat)
that it will yield a.bcut -30 busht-1 to the
acre with a fair opportunity. It makes
good Hour, of a yellowish cast,riii:fs we'l
and makes as good biscuit as
c-ur b ivt spring wheat flour. In order
that the eed may bo preserved, and otli

Mr. Tho:nas propoeaa to dispose of a
small quantity at .5r5.dO per bushel.
He also has a sm ill quantity of the fa
mous ' Surpiise Oats," from which he
raised 2 12 bushels from 2 quarts the
firjt ssacon; and this ye:r -id 1 2 bushels
from the 2 1-2, notwitnstanding they
were seriously damaged by grasshoppers
both seasons, after they were headed out.
The Oats will be disposed of, in small
quantities, at $3.09 per bushel. Speci
