The undersigned having made arrangements for
establishing a Republican paper at Lincoln, the Cap
ital of the State, have the honor to announce to the
public that the materials ror a first-class publishing
and job office have been ordered and will be ready
lor business in a short time.
The "COMMONWEALTH" will labor f.r the early
and rapid developemcnt of the resources of our inte-
ior counties and the State generally, by the influx of
hardy immigrants, and for the immediate construct
tion of the iron highways of commerce, to make a
market for the first grain growing section of the
Union. As an exponent of Republicanism it will

jority, in obedience to the mandates of the men who
