A stranger walking through our city would very natuially come to the conclusion that it was a vast doer boarding house, on all sides he is greeted by dogs, big dogs, little dogs, white dogs and black dos, dogs, of all colors, long tailed and tthort tailed dogs, good looking dogs and ill looking dogs, in fact evory known variety of the canine species. We're friendly to dogs but don't like too many cf them, and would like to hear of some action by our City Council tending to make them scarce. Already we have noticed that hydropho bia has commenced among them in other places, end as tho season bids fair to be an excessively hot one, it would be well to clear them out before any lives are lost through an excess of so many miser able curs.
