Either disease will disappear in twelve hours. For a child, small doses, according to their age. I f countries would compel physicians to uso this, thero would bo no need of pest-houses. Nemaha school district organized under the now law, and elected tho fol lowing board: Seymour Howe and I). Tourtlotwero elected for tho term of ono yoar, H. Hell Andrews and Philip Crother for the term of two years, and Stephen A. Gilbert and C. C. Donald for tho term of three years. It was decided to levy a ten mills tax live mills to be applied on tho teachers' fund and five mills on the contingent fund. Nemaha City is situated in the south east corner of Nemaha county, and is tho present terminus of tho Nebraska Hailwav, and the eastern terminus of tho H. V. It. U. Tho latter road is completed to Hlue Springs, coming in this direction, and nearly to Culbertsou on tho west, about :!()0 miles from this point. Work is being puaho 1 forward from this place west as lapidly as it can bo done, and tho gap between Ne maha and Hlue Springs will bo closed during tho coming year. Nemaha will have in a short time a railroad bridge machine shops, etc., and will bo tho most important town in tho county. Our natural advantages are unequalled. The town is beautifully located on a gently rising foot-hill or tabic land overlooking the bottom lands and the Missouri river, and in point of beauty or location it cannot bo surpassed. Good business oponings aro presented hero, anil any ono coining west with tho view of locating, either in business or agricultural pursuits cannot do bet ter than to settle In Nemaha or vicinity. This is tho great shipping point for grain and live stock, it being so easily reached from all directions with heavy loads, making it the favorite town of the farmers. Nemaha has good schools, churches, Mason and Odd Fellow and temperance organizations. Several line stone quarries aro found near tho city. Tim ber and fuel is cheap and plenty. Thero aro good openings hero for tho following, in particular: A bank, another hotol, a steam (louring mill, and in fact, thoroisnot a bettor town in the State for men who desiro to en tor into business of any kind.
