A few evening? ago, just before
sundown, W. H. Loranee, tbiscity,
was on a sandbar near town getting a
wagon load of sand. When the load
was about on the horses started ; Lo
ranee ran to their heads to stop them
when they ran against him, knocking
him down and running over him with
the wagon, One or two of the wheels
passed over one of his legs, crushing
the flesh badly, but it was thought
breaking no bones. The unfortunate
man was so badly hurt that he could
